Founder, President & Chief Pilot

David E. Cowley, Colonel USA (Ret.) is the Founder, President, and Chief Pilot of SPOT Drone Imaging Services. He is a decorated Vietnam combat veteran. After 26 years of service, Dave retired as an Army Aviator and Intelligence Officer.

Throughout his military career, he applied airborne remote sensing technology to a myriad of complex military tasks, and for another 22 years as a civilian defense technical support contractor. He has over 50 years of experience as a pilot and manager of manned and unmanned aircraft systems, utilizing remote sensing technology to solve military and commercial challenges.

In 2017, Dave founded SPOT Drone Imaging Services to provide state-of-the-art unmanned airborne remote sensing capabilities, analysis, and training to civilian commercial industries with the goal to help them SAVE TIME, SAVE MONEY, and IMPROVE BUSINESS PROCESSES.
